The SIDOOR ATE53xS door control device is an intelligent door drive which can be used for safety-oriented operation of platform screen doors (PSD) according to individual requirements.
The SIDOOR ATE530G drive control offers project-specific solutions for sliding or folding steps between the edge of the platform and the outer door of the train. This enables barrier-free access for passengers.
The SIDOOR ATD400T interior railway door drive is an "intelligent" door drive which enables interior and gangway doors to be opened and closed at adjustable speeds and accelerations.

The SIDOOR ATE53xS door controller is an “intelligent” door drive which can be used for safety-oriented operation of platform screen doors (PSD) according to individual requirements.
Siemens has once again shown just how easy integration can be with the innovative SIDOOR ATE53xS platform screen door drive in conjunction with SIDOOR MED280 or MEG251 motors.
The PROFINET module integrated in the SIDOOR ATE53xS enables standardized, certified connection to PROFINET IO systems.

Failsafe thanks to automatic overload protection
Platforms represent a potential hazard for passengers and train drivers and are also bottlenecks for rail logistics processes. Installing separating screens between the platform and the track bed solves these problems, as well as a range of others. Platform screen doors ensure the fast and safe boarding and alighting of passengers. Siemens has unveiled a new controller and drive-based solution that is capable of being deployed for this purpose without extensive engineering.
A central component of this solution is the SIDOOR ATE530S/ATE531S door controller with PROFINET communication. Thanks to its PROFINET communication functionality, this modern complete drive can be integrated into individual platform control systems with very little effort.
SIDOOR MED280 and SIDOOR MEG251 EC motors from Siemens provide the movement, and are able to quickly and precisely open and close doors weighing up to 280 kg or 250 kg respectively as standard.
The main highlight is that The controller and motor form an overall system that match each other perfectly and that can be automated, parameterized and diagnosed via the "TIA Portal" engineering framework.
At the same time, the system can also adapt to the specific boundary conditions of an application, thus offering a host of new opportunities in group sales with SIMATIC products.
This minimizes overall engineering outlay and also proves extremely friendly service.
